HDI Global Specialty SE bolsters its Management Liability & Financial Institutions team with senior Neon hires
HDI Global Specialty SE has added to its Management Liability & Financial Institutions team with the hiring of Louise Parker and Charles Boorman. Both join the specialty lines insurer’s London office from Neon Syndicate 2468 with immediate effect.
Louise Parker, who joins as Senior Underwriter Management Liability & Financial Institutions, specialises in non-US domiciled financial institutions and commercial management liability business. Prior to Neon, Parker spent ten years at Arch and four years at Goldman Sachs as a Financial Analyst.
Charles Boorman joins HDI Global Specialty SE as Head of Management Liability & Financial Institutions, having held the same role at Neon where he oversaw the running of its commercial and financial institutions book from 2017. He has previously held similar roles at Probitas Syndicate 1492 and QBE Europe, as well as senior broking roles at Aon.
Welcoming the pair, HDI Global Specialty SE UK Managing Director, Richard Taylor said: “These are testing times for the industry and the country as a whole, so to be able to continue to build upon our talent pool and expand the business at a time like this is testament to our disciplined underwriting approach and robust business model. Both Louise and Charles bring with them a wealth of underwriting expertise that will no doubt add to our performance and continued resilience.”
The announcement follows the news earlier this month that the insurer has hired two senior political and credit risk underwriters, also from Neon.
