HDI Global Specialty SE Australia makes underwriting hire

Gerrie joins the Sydney office of HDI Global Specialty from Talbot Underwriting Ltd where she was a Class Underwriter for international property. She has also held underwriting roles in Australia and the UK at AIG, XL Catlin and Lloyd’s syndicate Probitas 1492.

The hire follows the appointment of two underwriters in the Australian aviation team in recent months and is aimed towards delivering the global insurer’s stated ambition of growing its footprint in Australia.
