Lorega expands operational board
26th October 2016 - Lorega Limited, the UK MGA and assistance specialist, has announced the appointment of five new directors to strengthen its operational management board, which will help to deliver its overall growth strategy. The new directors will focus on broadening and strengthening the company’s leadership structure. The move supports future growth in core products and services as well as the development and delivery of new assistance products and distribution channels.
Andrew Kilgour becomes Director of Broker Relationships and is responsible for the development of Lorega’s core business offerings and increasing its UK broker footprint. Andrew was Regional Sales Director for the Southern Region and has been with Lorega since 2004.
Shelley Wright is appointed Director of Innovation & New Products, assuming responsibility for new product and service innovation, development and sales. She was Lorega’s Regional Sales Director for the Northern Region and joined the business in 2009.
Julian Wakeling is appointed Director of New Distribution, with responsibility for the expansion of new markets distribution including corporate partnerships, retail financial service brands, affinity and aggregator insurance markets. Julian previously held senior roles at both Heath Lambert and Willis with responsibility for the affinity market. Julian joined the business in 2016.
Lee Bennett becomes Director of Operations. His role focuses on the continual building of the company’s operational capabilities and delivery of process efficiency, including ‘Lorega On-Line’, the company’s award winning on-line trading platform. Lee was Associate Director of Lorega responsible for managing its relationships with underwriters and the company’s internal support team. Lee joined Lorega in 2003.
Angus Tucker, is appointed Director of Service Delivery, with responsibility for service excellence across the business, including the integration and alignment of new products and services continuing Lorega’s recognised high service standards. Angus is also Managing Director of Lorega Solutions Limited, the company’s chartered loss adjusting subsidiary, and joined Lorega in 2010.
